Induction for ESCC Managers provides an opportunity to virtually meet Chief Officers and pick up on any queries relating to your new role as a Manager at ESCC. During the event you will 'meet' with managers from other departments in the Council making some useful contacts and establishing networks to help support you through the early months of your management career.

The training will be delivered via Microsoft teams. Delegates will receive a calendar invite in order to attend.

New managers and supervisors

Attending the Induction for Managers will support you with:

• ESCC expectations of a manager


• working as a manager in a political environment


• budget management and corporate budget setting


• ESCC management and leadership standards


• development opportunities and personnel support

Please be aware there will be a £30.00 charge for failure to attend without notice of cancellation.

The training is expected to be delivered through Microsoft Teams, and each session will have a built in break of about 30 minutes.

A calendar invitation will be sent to delegates in order for them to attend.
