This live interactive virtual classroom, delivered through Zoom, is a professional level workshop that provides an insight into the lives of trans and gender questioning children and young people, as well as gaining information on trans identities more generally.
The course aims to increase practitioners confidence in supporting young trans people to develop a strong sense of identity in the face of marginalisation. You will learn practical ways to make our services more safe and inclusive.
Please note: Participants are required to complete Trans Awareness Foundation Module prior to undertaking this workshop.

The module can be accessed via the East Sussex Learning Portal. Please log on via www.eastsussexlearning.org.uk Then select eLearning > Children’s Workforce > Early help, Social Care and SEND. You will then be able to select the module.

The session begins at 13:00, however please ensure you are logged in and ready to go at least 15 minutes before the start of the course, so you allow some time to resolve and technical issues, as we are unable to provide assistance on the day.
