Employees must develop an awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion to help them meet the needs of a diverse customer base and workforce, they need to be clear about best practice, and make their own commitment to this agenda within their roles.
This programme aims to provide a general and comprehensive training for staff across the Council that ensures a good understanding of their responsibilities for equality

Suitable for ALL staff, this training course delivers an intermediate programme, designed to build on the learning from the e-learning courses.
It will confirm understanding of the law, and the requirements of Public Sector Equality Duty and the way that they impact on the work of East Sussex County Council, support participants to develop their understanding of their responsibilities both personally and within their roles, and set their own objectives.
