This is a two day course intended for those who are, or may be, involved in Emergency Planning

Day 1: RD Collaborate including 'Response'

Objectives

1. Be competent in the use of RD in relation to Collaborate – Planning and Response


2. Create a site structure incorporating folders and pages using the ‘Templates’


3. Creating/Amending Group/Sub Group accounts


4. Understanding of Permission Levels

Day 2: RD Mapping including an Exercise

Objectives

1. Enable the user to ‘Create’ and Update RD Maps during a Multi Agency response.


2. Use all the ‘Map Drawing Tools’.


3. ‘Share’ via Map Access your map with others.


4. Allow other users to ‘Edit’ the same situational map.


5. Use the ‘Addressbase Premium’ and ‘Search’ functions.


6. Upload ‘Layers’ and ‘Images’ into ‘Asset Manager’


7. Forward a map ‘live-link’ to relevant email(s).


8. Use the ‘Print’ function

All delegates will need a laptop that they are able to use, and they will also need a Resilience Direct account, which must be applied for before the first day of the training. (If you have an existing account you will not need to create another account)

We have completed a Covid-19 risk assessment on the Training Centre Rooms and mitigating actions are in place. If you are at a high risk of Covid-19 please complete an Individual Covid-19 Risk Assessment with your manager and send to corporate.training@eastsussex.gov.uk at least one week before the course date.

Please bring an extra layer of clothing as training centre windows may be opened for ventilation
