Course description

This course is provided to allow partners to understand the profile of the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) and how their implementation and coordination monitors and manages the potential risk presented by offenders who reside within the community.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • identify the agencies involved in the procedures

  • consider the roles and responsibilities of each agency

  • identify your own/agency responsibility.

Preparation and follow up
Before attending any ESSCP training course, participants must attend a Basic Signs and Indicators Child Protection course provided/commissioned by their own organisation or have accessed the Safeguarding Children online e-learning training course.

To complete this course go to the e-learning section on the East Sussex Learning Portal, enter the Children’s Workforce channel and click Safeguarding.

Refreshments are provided however lunch is NOT provided.
