This live interactive virtual classroom training will look in detail at the specific impact of parental problematic drug and alcohol use on children’s development and outcomes, exploring what and how they might be thinking, feeling and behaving.
This is a level 4 course, the target audience is qualified social workers (particularly in their second year) working primarily in children’s services however, health visitors and anyone who has completed the ESSCP course: 'Parental Drug and Alcohol Use and the Impact on Children' with a specific interest or wish to develop a specialism in working with families affected by problematic drug and alcohol use, would also be welcome.
Important note: It is essential that all participants have undertaken the Alcohol and Drugs foundation (Modules 1 & 2) eLearning prior to coming on this course (see additional information under full details), or you may be turned away.
This training will be delivered through MS Teams. This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses Sharepoint libraries to store team information and who has not used Sharepoint before. The course will also cover managing your own Onedrive site used for storing personal documentation.
