This one day workshop has been developed to give managers and staff the tools, techniques and time to practice the skills in order to be more efficient, think of new ideas, and eliminate waste, using creative thinking techniques.

Creative Thinking & Continuous Improvement programme has been developed to give managers and staff the tools, techniques and practice the skills in order to be more efficient, think of new ideas, and take the initiative and responsibility for improvement ideas, using Kaizen and creative thinking techniques.

The programme has been split into two half day modules – Creative Thinking – 3 hours, and Continuous Improvement – 2.5 hours, delivered on a virtual platform.

This course will provide an introduction to working with young people who exhibit self harming behaviours. It will explore the reasons for self harming and provide an understanding of mental health issues associated with self harming. It will also introduce participants to the East Sussex Multi-Agency Self Harm protocol.

Important note: It is essential that you have undertaken the Safeguarding Children e-learning prior to coming on this course (see additional information under full details), or you may be turned away.

ISEND - EYES Search and Viewing only

EYES Search and View is a half day of training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Childrens ISEND Liquid Logic platform. This course is designed to show you how to navigate Liquid Logic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned images held within ECaseFile

This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses EYES whether to view client data or input data into the system

As a new staff member your manager must request that a Liquid Logic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills.

You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.

This half-day online webinar will be an opportunity to develop practitioner understanding of how to use the maths mastery approach in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We will be looking at how to use a range of manipulatives to enable learning through whole class teaching, continuous provision and for SEN.

This course aims to provide participants with the confidence to tackle electrical inspection and testing.

This is an essential training course for all headteachers and deputy headteachers. If the headteacher or deputy headteacher is the nominated Health and Safety Co-ordinator for the school, it is recommended that the IOSH Managing Safely course is attended instead of this course.
