This is a live interactive virtual classroom, delivered via Zoom. This session is only available to invited staff, involved in the recruitment of Social Workers.
This training, delivered by Amber & Greene, is designed to build awareness and provide the underpinning knowledge, skills and confidence to enable recruitment panel members to engage collaboratively in anti-racist and inclusive practice during interviews of prospective social work students.
Amongst other things, the training will give delegates an increased understanding of contemporary issues in relation to race, racism and other forms of discrimination, an understanding of how this can occur in the recruitment process, and how to tackle it.
Please note that there is a follow up reflective session following this training. Staff signing up for this session will need to sign up for one of the two sessions below, either:

LCS/EHM Search and View is a half day of remote hands on training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Childrens LCS LiquidLogic platform. This course is designed to show you how to navigate LiquidLogic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned/uploaded images held within ECaseFile
This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses LCS and/or EHM whether to view client data or input data into the system.
As a new staff member your manager must request that a LiquidLogic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills.
You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.
Training sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams, please reserve the time in your diary.
You should assure yourself of the suitability of the learning environment from which you will access the online course. In order to focus on the learning content, you will need to access the session from a quiet location where you will not be disturbed. If it is not possible to do this within the office then you should select an alternative location/room that is more suitable, by agreement with your manager.
In order for you to be able to attend you will need to ensure that you are using an ESCC device that has a microphone and video capabilities.
