Code: CWA271 Mental Health: Assessment and Intervention with Adolescents and Adults including GAD7 and PH9 Professional Level Workshop

This one day workshop will enable you to increase your competence in talking with adolescents and adults about mental health issues. This will include challenging conversations about subjects such as self-harm and suicide, using screening tools to help assess a person’s mental health and identify positive interventions.

This workshop is relevant for all East Sussex children's services practitioners working with children, young people and families assessed as level 3 or 4 on the Continuum of Need and adult social care practitioners working with people with mental health issues.

Important note: Participants will need to have undertaken the mental health professional eLearning modules 4 and 5 to attend this course (see additional information under full details) or you may be turned away.
