This governor training workshop is on the effective utilisation and monitoring of the Primary PE and Sport Premium funding.

Section 5 OFSTED inspections place the use of this funding under effective leadership and management making it imperative that governors understand how this funding should be used within their school. Schools are be increasingly held to account by Ofsted at inspection.

Code: ESC/19/105 LCS/EHM (Liquid Logic Children’s) Search and View

LCS Search and View is a half day of training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Children’s Liquid Logic platform. This course is designed to show you how to navigate Liquid Logic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned images held within ECaseFile. 

This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses LCS or EHM whether to view client data or input data into the system. 

As a new staff member your manager must request that a Liquid Logic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills. 

You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.

This course will focus on the experiences of young people who use and/or experience abuse within their intimate relationships.

It is appropriate for anyone working with a young person who is currently using or experiencing abuse from their boyfriend/girlfriend/other intimate partner or who is at risk of this form of abuse.

The course is also for anyone who feels that an increased awareness and understanding of this form of violence and abuse will inform their work with parents and families.


Important note: It is essential that you have undertaken the Safeguarding Children and Domestic Abuse Foundation Module 1: What is domestic abuse? e-learning prior to coming on this course (see additional information under full details), or you may be turned away.

Code: CWB223A-I Mindfulness for Resilience and Wellbeing

This evidence based mindfulness programme offers an opportunity to learn a range of mindfulness skills to help equip you to thrive in busy and challenging work settings. This course has been evaluated independently and shown to have positive benefits in terms of reductions in stress and improved psychological wellbeing. Other identified benefits included increased compassion and a possible reduction in compassion fatigue; this has clear implications for the quality of relationships with service users.
 
Important note: The trainer will contact participants in advance of the course as part of the application process. Participants are expected to complete daily home practice and attend the scheduled Saturday retreat session - see additional information.
