Code: CWB450AD Motivational Interviewing Foundation (Virtual)

This 12 hours course in a live interactive virtual classroom will give you a practical understanding of Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills and principles. When used, these tools aim to strengthen somebody’s motivation and confidence, to promote positive change within them and to help develop the skills to cope with life challenges. MI is a short term goal-oriented strengths-based approaches.

The session aims to update safeguarding link governors on recent local and national issues and to give governors the opportunity to network with other governors and raise any queries, concerns or issues they may have.
