Code: EYFS060 EYFS: Aiming high - enabling children to achieve expected and exceeding

This one day course will aim to explore how to support children who are on the cusp of achieving expected or exceeding.

There will be an opportunity to explore quality first teaching to enable children to reach expected.

Delegates will develop their understanding of the exceeding descriptors across the early learning goals and how these opportunities for learning are seen in planning, assessment, the environment and adult interactions.

Code: ESC/20/10 First Aid at Work (3 Day) (EVENT FULL)

The First Aid at Work course, covered over 3 days, will qualify you as a First Aider and will enable you to deal with an accident or injury in the workplace. It will qualify you to diagnose a variety of possible illnesses and injuries and will enable you to assess the need to seek further medical attention.

At the end of the course there is a written exam and trainees must demonstrate the skills and knowledge learnt during the course, when there will be some hands on floor work. Trainees will receive a certificate at the end of the course and the qualification lasts for three years.

Support groups provide a much needed opportunity to talk about fostering issues with other carers. They are attended by carers who have a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise which they have accumulated through many years in fostering. The support group can offer an opportunity to share experiences and provide invaluable support to each other. Some of the support groups will have designated speakers to share information or address a training need.

SharePoint is a half day of training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the SharePoint platform.
This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses Sharepoint libraries to store team information and who has not used Sharepoint before. The course will also cover managing your own Onedrive site used for storing personal documentation.
