This course will consider how sexual abuse takes place in families, exploring what makes families particularly vulnerable to sexual abuse and what we can do to reduce risk. The course will consider the perpetrators, non-abusing parents and the victims. The focus in this training will include adult male perpetrators of sexual abuse (both convicted and those who have had recent or non-recent allegations made against them) and the position of the non-abusing parent/carer and how best we can engage them in recognising risk in order that they can protect their children.

Important note: You will need to have undertaken the Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) e-learning prior to coming on this course (see additional information under full details) or you may be turned away.
