This short, focussed training session is intended to help staff develop a basic understanding of records management, as well as what resources, policies and support are in place at ESCC to help gain better control over your records. This will help staff in their everyday work, as well as aid compliance with legislation and service requirements.

This webinar will set out the statutory requirements for assessment of, and reporting on, pupils' achievements at the end of Key Stage 1 & 2 (KS1/KS2) in 2020/21.
It is primarily aimed at school leaders and teachers in years 2 and 6, although teachers in other year groups could also benefit. It is suitable for both experienced teachers and leaders and those new to the profession or new to a leadership role.

The Annual First Aid at Work Refresher is covered over 3 hours and is designed to update and refresh the knowledge and skills of anyone with the First Aid at Work or the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. First Aid Refresher training is strongly recommended by the HSE and First Aid Awards and is ideally completed one year and then two years after qualification (ie two Annual First Aid Refreshers should be completed during the three years of qualification).
Please bring your First Aid at Work certificate with you on the day

This course advises Premises Coordinators of their role in managing the risks associated with the premises and the management of contractors on site. This course includes responsibilities arising from health and safety legislation, including the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (CDM 2015) which applies to all building and construction work e.g. new build, demolition, refurbishment, extensions, conversions, repair and maintenance.

This live interactive virtual classroom training, delivered through Microsoft Teams is aimed at those who maintain the Single Central Record (SCR); Bursars, Business Managers, Office Administration, Headteachers, Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) and Safeguarding Lead Governors, to ensure compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education and safer recruitment guidance. There will be opportunity to consider each column/section of the SCR with opportunity for questions and queries. We will also consider the responsibilities of the Headteacher, Safeguarding Lead Governor and Designated Safeguarding Lead in ensuring compliance. Please note current HR guidance is only available to schools that have bought into their service.
