Code: AS801 Assessment - Key Stage 1 Cluster Moderation Meetings - Afternoon

These Cluster Moderation Meetings aim to verify the 2019 Key Stage 1 teacher assessment judgements and ensure that teachers' assessment of pupil achievement in Reading, Writing and Mathematics at the end of Key Stage 1 is consistent across all schools. Schools that have not been selected for statutory moderation should send at least one teacher to one of these meetings.

Code: ESC/19/112 Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (1 Day) (EVENT FULL)

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is covered over 6 hours. It provides an excellent introduction to the basic principles of First Aid, and trains you to take control of a first aid situation in the workplace in the absence of a fully trained First Aider (see First Aid at Work).

The course tutor will assess you throughout the course, through multiple choice papers and observations. Upon completion, First Aid Awards will provide a certificate.

Your certificate will last for 3 years.

This is a briefing and networking session for school governors about external funding opportunities. The session will cover:

  • types of funding available for schools
  • identifying funders and using resources to find funders
  • overview of "go to" funders for schools
  • Getting bid ready and looking at practicalities before you apply
  • How to write a strong application, with worked drafts available
  • frequently asked questions

The briefing will be delivered by East Sussex County Council’s Funding Advice Team who provide advice and support to community groups, charities and schools. With around 30 years’ experience within the team, they have helped all sorts of not for profits secure funding for different types of projects from different funders.
