This webinar aims to support teachers to make effective and accurate ongoing assessments of reading in Key Stage 2. We will unpick the reading strands in detail and share top tips on how to prepare pupils for the rigors of the national curriculum test.

We will also be exploring how to explicitly teach reading skills, how to identify and address gaps, and how to move pupils forward in their reading, ensuring the best possible outcomes by the end of the key stage.

NOTE: Although this webinar is primarily aimed at teachers in years 5 and 6, teachers in years 3 and 4 will also find it useful. The webinar is suitable for teachers at all levels of experience.

This live interactive virtual course, delivered over three days via Teams, forms the foundation level of a programme of training on 'Attachment Based Practice with Families'. Practitioners who have attended the previous Application of Attachment Theory course are eligible to book directly on to the second part of the programme: 'Attachment Based Practice with Families, Part 2 - Adolescence, Adulthood and the Family System'.

This Part 1 course focuses on infancy and early childhood, moving up to the school years. It introduces contemporary attachment theory, its links with child development, neurobiology and the emerging field of narrative medicine. The latter part of the training day is set aside for independent study.

Attachment theory is essential for understanding how human beings function in relationships and how people develop social and psychological difficulties. It is also fundamental for understanding what constitutes psychological wellbeing.

This course is designed to show you how to navigate Liquid Logic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned images held within ECaseFile

This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses EYES whether to view client data or input data into the system

As a new staff member your manager must request that a Liquid Logic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills.

You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.
