The new supervision and appraisal model for ESCC (Maximising Performance) has an emphasis on managers and their staff having continuous, high quality, coaching conversations to support everyone to increase their performance.
It is essential that you complete the "Maximising Performance" elearning module & pre-course work prior to attending this workshop.
This workshop looks at the skills needed by managers to get the most from these discussions, including how to tackle poor performance and how to further motivate high performers.Essential Information

This is a support group to provide female carers an opportunity to meet other female foster carers. Discussions will address the importance of their role within the care of looked after children. To highlight the key areas that women can influence, how they can influence and why it is important for looked after children to see a positive female role model.
Inform and update governors on current local and national issues relating to schools and the work of the Governing Board. A school to school approach, combined with the increased focus on school governance, will require governing boards to consider how all governors can work collectively, not just in their own schools, but across the wider ‘governor community’. The forums will facilitate governor networking and information gathering through high quality presentations that facilitate discussion and information sharing among peers.Essential Information
On this course participants will look at methods to effectively manage the process of an allegation against a colleague or themselves.
This training is only aimed at professionals who will be directly involved in The Managing Allegations process and who have a relevant need to investigate.

SharePoint is a half day of training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the SharePoint platform.
This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses Sharepoint libraries to store team information and who has not used Sharepoint before. The course will also cover managing your own Onedrive site used for storing personal documentation.
