This is a live interactive virtual classroom, delivered through Microsoft Teams.
These workshop sessions are intended to help school data protection leads develop the knowledge and skills they need to ensure that their school has in place the key documentation required under the GDPR.
This webinar workshop session will focus on common records management issues in schools including defining retention periods and creating a retention schedule.
It will also draw upon real examples taken from local schools to ensure that the content is as appropriate and specific as possible as well as signposting available resources to assist attendees with implementing effective records management processes in their own schools.
Experienced Information Governance Officers will also be available through the online chat function to provide advice and support throughout the session.
These sessions will be run online using Microsoft Teams, however you do not need to have this software installed in order to take part. The sessions will be accessible through a hyperlink, which will be emailed out to all participants before the event and can therefore be accessed on any device with internet access, either through a web browser or through Teams itself.

This reflective workshop, delivered by Aaron Clarke on behalf of Diversity Resource International, will provide an opportunity to explore issues around race, ethnicity and religious diversity, enabling you and your team to improve professional practice when working with families, children and young people.
Participants are required to complete the Racial, Ethnic and National Equality Foundation Module e-learning via the East Sussex Learning Portal prior to undertaking this workshop.
