Spelling is a crucial element of the English curriculum and plays a key part in improving standards in writing throughout KS2. The day will focus on developing an approach to spelling and specific strategies to meet the expectations of the curriculum. Our goal is to support children to become confident, accurate and independent in this area so that it ceases to be a barrier to their progress in writing.
