This webinar aims to support teachers to make effective and accurate ongoing assessments of mathematics in Key Stage 1. We will unpick the framework statements in detail and explore how to look for, and record, evidence of the statements in pupil work, and share best practice approaches to gathering evidence.
We will also be exploring how to identify and address gaps, and providing strategies for moving pupils forward in their mathematics, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

This 12 hours course in a live interactive virtual classroom will give you a practical understanding of Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills and principles. When used, these tools aim to strengthen somebody’s motivation and confidence, to promote positive change within them and to help develop the skills to cope with life challenges. MI is a short term goal-oriented strengths-based approaches.

East Sussex Children’s Service and the East Sussex Safeguarding Children Partnership (ESSCP) has set an expectation that the named safeguarding link governors attend, prior to or shortly after appointment, in-depth face to face training delivered by the East Sussex Governor and Clerking Services.
This session will provide new safeguarding link governors the knowledge to work effectively with the school’s designated safeguarding lead (DSL) and ensure the governing body's responsibilities are being met.
