Participants on this course will gain knowledge about challenging behaviours.Challenging behaviour used to be described as ‘problem behaviour’ or ‘difficult behaviour’ or ‘socially unacceptable behaviour’.
But in recent years, the term challenging behaviour reflects the fact that some of the behaviours are a challenge to professionals, teachers, carers and parents.
This course offers you opportunity to consider different behaviours and strategies that can be used.
Leadership and Management : A Whole School Approach to Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing : Leadership & Management - Ethos and Environment
We will reference the government's Green Paper on developing a whole school approach to mental health and emotional wellbeing in schools. The workshop will include suggestions on best practice and useful resources.
LSCB : Safeguarding Children with Additional Needs
This course aims to challenge professional thinking, values and beliefs that exist around safeguarding children with additional needs. To understand the risks and indicators associated with safeguarding children with additional needs.
