Code: AS841 Assessment : Key Stage 2 Assessment Support Events (Writing) CLOSED TO BOOKINGS

These events aim to provide an opportunity for Year 6 teachers to check their understanding and application of the assessment frameworks to real pupils' work.

Each event will run as a 'mock' moderation meeting where teachers will be able to practise discussing their judgements with an experienced moderator, supporting them to articulate and justify their judgements with clear evidence and providing them with the skills to challenge a judgement if required.

Facilitators will support Year 6 teachers to identify gaps in their pupils' learning and develop strategies to move them forward effectively.

There are three events early in the academic year (December) and three later in the year (March) in order to give teachers several opportunities to check their understanding with trained county moderators.
