This workshop is a live interactive virtual classroom, 1/2 day workshop for Early Help staff, delivered using Zoom.
You are skilled and experienced in your field; you take pride in your professionalism; you care about your team and the children, young people and families you work with.
This reflective workshop will provide an opportunity to explore issues around race, ethnicity and religious diversity, enabling you and your team to improve professional practice when working with families, children and young people.
Participants are required to complete the Racial, Ethnic and National Equality Foundation Module e-learning via the East Sussex Learning Portal prior to undertaking this workshop.

This course provides participants with the knowledge that will enable them to identify signs and indicators of abuse and their responsibilities in terms of responding to and highlighting any concerns, appropriately using East Sussex County Council procedures. It will also discuss the wider safeguarding role and discuss how to identify children and families who require an Early Help Plan and where to get the appropriate help and advice.
Please find attached the Continuum of Need and indicators, these will be referred to during the training so please familiarise yourself with these.
This course is NOT suitable for Registered Childminders and Designated Safeguarding Leads. Please attend either the "Designated Safeguarding Leads Training for Childcare Settings - initial Training" or "Designated Safeguarding Leads Training for Childcare Settings – Refresher training" as applicable. LCS Search and View is a half day of training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Children’s Liquid Logic platform. This course is designed to show you how to navigate Liquid Logic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned images held within ECaseFile.
This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses LCS or EHM whether to view client data or input data into the system.
As a new staff member your manager must request that a Liquid Logic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills.
You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.

This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses Sharepoint libraries to store team information and who has not used Sharepoint before. The course will also cover managing your own Onedrive site used for storing personal documentation.
