Sharepoint 2013 training  is a 2 hour remote hands on session for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Sharepoint and OneDrive platform. This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses Sharepoint libraries to store team information and who has not used Sharepoint before. The course will also cover managing your own OneDrive site used for storing personal documentation.

Training sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams, please reserve the time in your diary.

You should assure yourself of the suitability of the learning environment from which you will access the online course. In order to focus on the learning content, you will need to access the session from a quiet location where you will not be disturbed. If it is not possible to do this within the office then you should select an alternative location/room that is more suitable, by agreement with your manager.

In order for you to be able to attend you will need to ensure that you are using an ESCC device that has a microphone and video capabilities.

This one day course aims to update and deepen the knowledge of the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), with the aim of ensuring compliance with the latest addition of Keeping Children Safe in Education, as well as with locally developed guidance and procedures.

This highly participative course will consist of some input from the facilitator, group discussions and practical exercises. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on what they have learnt and to draw up action plans to put it in to practice back in the workplace.

This course is designed to help delegates recognise and better understand manual handling risks that may be present in their working environment. It provides the basic information on how best to undertake manual handling and methods to reduce risks identified.

Who should attend?
Persons who are required to undertake simple manual handling of objects as part of their job.

Due to the nature of this topic, the maximum number of participants is 10 and a degree of openness and readiness to participate in the programme is required.

This live interactive virtual course, delivered over three days via Teams, forms the foundation level of a programme of training on 'Attachment Based Practice with Families'. Practitioners who have attended the previous Application of Attachment Theory course are eligible to book directly on to the second part of the programme: 'Attachment Based Practice with Families, Part 2 - Adolescence, Adulthood and the Family System'.

This Part 1 course focuses on infancy and early childhood, moving up to the school years. It introduces contemporary attachment theory, its links with child development, neurobiology and the emerging field of narrative medicine. The latter part of the training day is set aside for independent study.

Attachment theory is essential for understanding how human beings function in relationships and how people develop social and psychological difficulties. It is also fundamental for understanding what constitutes psychological wellbeing.

This one day workshop has been developed to give managers and staff the tools, techniques and time to practice the skills in order to be more efficient, think of new ideas, and eliminate waste, using creative thinking techniques.

This workshop is a half day workshop for Early Help staff.

• What are your strengths in this area and what anxieties and concerns do you have?

This reflective workshop, delivered by Aaron Clarke on behalf of Diversity Resource International, will provide an opportunity to explore issues around race, ethnicity and religious diversity, enabling you and your team to improve professional practice when working with families, children and young people.

Participants are required to complete the Racial, Ethnic and National Equality Foundation Module e-learning via the East Sussex Learning Portal prior to undertaking this workshop.
