Code: CWA292 Mental Health: Working with Children and Young People with Mental Health Issues - Professional Level Workshop

This new 1/2 day workshop is part of a themed learning programme focusing on practical support and intervention with Children and Young People where mental health issues might be present.

The event is facilitated by Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and Local Safeguarding Children’s Board (LSCB) professionals. It is responding to learning needs identified in this area by a broad range of Children’s Services practitioners working with Children and Young People on Level 3 and 4 on the Continuum of Need. 

This workshop is relevant for all East Sussex children's services practitioners working with children, young people and families assessed as level 3 or 4 on the Continuum of Need and specifically Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) and SENCOs from schools and early years providers.

Important note: Participants will need to have undertaken the Mental health foundation module 3 e-learning prior to attending this course (see additional information under full details) or you may be turned away.

Code: CWA294AB Adopting a Whole Family Approach to Domestic Abuse and Promoting Safety - Professional Level Workshop

This popular course is essential for practitioners from Children's Services and Adult Social Care, education, early help, the police and health, to review, update and consolidate core knowledge about domestic abuse. 

This two day ‘professional level’ workshop is part of the domestic abuse thematic learning pathway and will give an overarching and updated view on current research, theory and practice in the field. It is relevant for all East Sussex children's services practitioners working with children, young people and families assessed as level 3 or 4 on the Continuum of Need.
