This course covers general sign posting for families key miles stones, enabling families to access online services and information digitally, delivered by the Family Information Service in Children's Services who established the Parent Information Contact (PIC) https://www.eastsussex.gov.uk/childrenandfamilies/familysupport/parent-information-contacts/ scheme in 2007. 

Workshop for frontline staff in working with parents including;  

children's centre frontline staff, social workers, keyworkers, health visitors,  community nurses and any CS staff that work with families.

You will need to bring a laptop and/or smart phone to the training

This course aims to help school/college staff to support students struggling with anxiety, and to help parents/carers to develop techniques to manage their children's, and their own, anxiety. The intended audience is targeted staff, i.e. those working direct with students such as: for primary settings: safeguarding team, SENCO, pastoral, learning mentors, school nurse, HLTA, TA, inclusion lead, MH Lead, and for sec/post-16: as per primary but additionally, student services/wellbeing staff.
